That's the case with a lot of full hollow bodies, so I couldn't really play with any amount of dirt. With the Casino I was getting terrible feedback problems. I actually got my Sheraton for cheaper than I would have paid for the Casino, too. I ended up going with an Epiphone Sheraton II and I absolutely love it. But if you're buying it to be your main ax, I'd consider something else. and even he's transitioned to an SG recently.ĭon't get me wrong, a Casino a great guitar to have in your arsenal. The only person who has gotten a really attractive tone out of a Casino in my opinion is Gary Clark Jr. I got to wondering how the Beatles used it so well, and it occurred to me that I've never actually been attracted to the kinds of tones the Beatles got, just the playing. But when I played it, it just wasn't "it". I thought for sure it was the guitar for me. As a huge Beatles and hallow/semi-hallow guitar fan, I was initially really attracted to the Casino. ![]()
